The Fargo Force look to keep their USHL season and hopes of winning a championship alive when they meet Dubuque on Friday, May 17 at Scheels Arena in Fargo starting 7:35 p.m. Dubuque leads the best-of-five championships series 2-0.
Leading the Force into the finals has been second-year USHL player Alex Iafallo, an Eden native, who put up 43 points in 50 regular season games and was a plus-34. Coming into this series, the 5-foot-11, 165-pound forward was also tied for the USHL playoff scoring lead with 13 points in 10 games. Iafallo, who formerly played at St. Francis before returning to Eden High School, is NHL draft eligible this year.
If the Force win, Game Four would be played the next evening. A deciding game would be played May 21 in Dubuque.
