Former star Hamburg golfer Cappuzzo named head pro in N.C.

Former Hamburg High School standout golfer Chris Cappuzzo remains very much involved in the sport and just recently, was promoted earlier this year at the Charlotte, N.C. country club where he works.
Cappuzzo, well known for being the only Hamburg golfer ever to win an individual state championship, has been elevated to the position of Head Golf Professional at Raintree Country Club. He served in the assistants role from April 1999 until February of this year. The 1991 graduate of Hamburg High School has been living in North Carolina for the past 16 years.
Cappuzzo also was recently honored at his alma mater by being inducted into the Hamburg Sports Wall of Fame as part of the Class of 2012.
